Time is flying by. I'm amazed that it's already May. At the same time, I think of all of the incredible experiences I have had in teacher training (and all around), and it seems like such a small amount of time to fit such incredible opportunities into. This weekend we had the fortune of doing Pranayama with Marcus Kasunich. He is such a genuine and hilarious man. Over an hour of pranayama and meditation was very intense. It was a private session for the teacher trainers and our guru --- the energy was so powerful that for awhile, I thought I very well could have been tingling and paralyzed in an an awkward mantra pose for the rest of my life. Many of us experienced the muscle contortions and tightening, others experienced melting sensations. There were also some visual sensations.
My Bakasana is better than ever. I am so obsessed with the asana that I occasionally bust one out in the middle of my classroom while I'm doing my rounds to check in with students while they are working independently. I'm pretty sure they think I'm crazy, but that may be why we get along.
I'm interested to see if anyone has any experience with spirit guides. Let me know!
